Location
Located on the right bank of the Seine, the Marais area is well-known for its historic sites, buildings and monuments as well as for its fashion boutiques, Sunday shopping opportunities, galleries and its great café and restaurant life. It also has one of Paris’s most beautiful squares, the ‘must see’ Place des Vosges.
The apartment is on Rue Rambuteau, within easy walking distance of the Place and of a number of museums, including the Pompidou, the Picasso museum and the Carnavelet. It’s a comfortable walk or short métro trip away from Notre Dame cathedral, the Louvre and the nearby Orangerie and Musée d’Orsay. The apartment is also just an easy métro trip away from the famous department stores, Galeries Lafayette and Printemps.

Oh, I hate to leave!...but I must get out the door, so I will be brief. My daughter and I have enjoyed ourselves thoroughly — a perfect location, quiet, wonderfully outfitted. We cooked, we laughed, we watched your DVD of Sandrine in Paris — marvellous! I add to what others have said — we sing praises — and the books — thank you...yes, we too hope to be back.
